The Beginning!!!
The first week of my senior year started great, but after that it went downhill. First off, I wasn't enrolled in AP Spanish like I was supposed to and by the time my counselor got around to changing my schedule, I was already behind. I also fell behind in 2 other classes, Math and US History. I was originally supposed to take the courses in summer school, but my grandmother became sick and my family had to go to Mexico. Because of all this, I'm spending my Senior year working on making up the classes after school.
This year, I like most of my classes like English, AP spanish, Art, Car In Ed 2. The one I have trouble understanding is Gov. I’m not really good at that subject for some reason. Because of the classes I failed last year I have to do homework every night and also on the weekends. I also stay after school almost everyday to get help with assignments. It’s horrible. I knew senior year was going to be hard but not this hard. And I know is going to get harder everyday.
I made new friends and I also started to talk to different people around campus. I’m happy that I have some of my friends in my classes. We work together so we can finish the work on time. This is also the first year I've decided to join clubs. My friends and I joined La Asociacion Honororia Hispania.
My parents work really hard for me and my brothers. One way to pay them back is to graduate and either attend college of get a good job. I’m going to work really hard so I can at least graduate. I’m going to need some help, but I know that if I try I can do it. I've learned not to wait until the last minute to get my work done because sometimes it doesn't always work out like you planned.
